Enfocus introduces Connect Send 11
After the launch of Connect You, PDF creation and verification software, a part of Connect 11 family, in June this year, Enfocus has now unveiled Connect Send 11, another member of the family. Connect Send is a job submission tool, which enables print firms to streamline and automate file delivery from their customers.

Michael Reiher, Connect product manager at Enfocus, said, “Our Connect product line is focused on making file delivery easy and efficient in a distributed environment. The release of Connect Send builds on that goal by giving our customers a way to improve the order submission process for their clients.”
According to Enfocus, with Connect Send, service providers create and supply pre-configured applets, called Connectors, to customers. These Connectors contain embedded settings for delivery of PDFs, images, native layout files or any other file type to existing FTP, sFTP, HTTP, email, or Enfocus Switch servers.
“To submit a file, the user has to drag and drop the files onto the desktop icon; without the usual email and telephone support required to ensure settings and delivery credentials are correct,” said the company statement.
Among the Connect 11 family of products, Connect You and Connect All are available in the market. All the three products in the family are at the update one release. These are fully compatible with the recently updated PitStop12 library, the standard preflight and correction technology inside the mainstream workflows.
In India, Enfocus is represented by Mumbai-based Venus Infotech.
