Any enters the flexo segment with Omet X6

The company had booked the machine in October 2015.
Kuldip Goel of Any Graphics said, “We chose the Omet for multiple reasons, including its ease of use and the fact that we got all the functions in our machine within our budget. It was tough to get all our desired and required functions in a single machine. The company gave us special discount too. The after-sale service is also strong. Again, one technical staff is responsible for multiple functions, so your dependency falls on less people.”
A new entrant to flexography, Any’s existing setup has offset, screen and letterpresses. “Being a new entrant to the technology, we cannot comment on everything, but we are confident that we will be doing some great jobs on the machine,” Goel said. Presently, the company will use the machine for labels. “As we become experienced with the machine, we will go for innovation,” Goel, who personally went to the Omet factory and run the machine at the manufacturing facility, added.
The first narrow-web flexo printing press at Any Graphics is equipped with screen unit, hot foil, cold foil, special attachments for proprietary applications, embossing, die-cutting, sheeting. It is a full servo direct drive machine.
Harveer Sahni of Weldon Celloplast, the Indian representative of Italy-based Omet, said, “Adding to the innovative capabilities of an award winning and innovative enterprise like Any Graphics is a delightful experience. Kuldip Goel is already visualising creative use of the Omet and it gives us infinite satisfaction. We are looking forward to showcasing to the industry what a creative printer can achieve by using technically advanced equipment.”
