Entries invited for Publishing Next Industry Awards 2018
Entries have been invited for the fifth edition of the Publishing Next Industry Awards. Instituted in 2014, these awards seek to ‘recognise the innovation and leadership of publishing professionals and others in the book trade in India’.

The last date of submitting applications is 15 May 2018
Established under the aegis of the neutral platform of the Publishing Next conference, this year, the awards have introduced a new category, ‘Illustrator of the Year’. Thus, Publishing Next Industry Awards 2018 will be presented in the twelve categories.
These include Book of the Year (English); Book of the Year (Indian Languages); Children’s Book of the Year (English); Children’s Book of the Year (Indian Languages); Illustrated Book of the Year (Coffee Table Books); Book Cover of the Year (English); Book Cover of the Year; Book Illustrator of the Year; Editor of the Year; Bookstore of the Year; Publisher of the Year (English, Indian Languages, General); Publisher of the Year (English, Indian Languages, Children’s Literature).
The last date of submitting applications is 15 May 2018.
The shortlist will be announced on 15 August 2018. The winners of the Awards will be announced in September 2018.
The Awards are open to publishing houses based in India, as also branches of international publishing houses, for their publishing programmes out of India.
