Ad Make India based in Goregaon in Mumbai uses the SureColor kit to print indoor signages and canvas among other applications. Speaking to PrintWeek India, Aditya Ranoliya, director, Ad Make said, “We have the Epson Stylus Pro 9860, however, we faced limitations for applications wider than 42-inch and hence we opted for the 64-inch S30670. The USP of this machine is its studio quality output, which is similar to inkjet output.”
“The Epson SureColor SC-S30670 is the best-in-line signage printer for businesses prioritising total cost of ownership and performance as Epson provides a one-year warranty for all machine parts, while the new ink set enables greater flexibility on media choice thereby reducing printing cost,” said, S M Ramprasad, deputy general manager, consumer product group, Epson India.
The printer has a maximum print resolution of 720x1440dpi and comes with optional heavy roll media system, which can handle up to 80kg of roll media, and an additional print drying system. Epson claims that the printer is enabled to print 29.4 sqm per hour at 720x720dpi banner qualityand 9.9 sqm per hour at 720x1440 dpi.
Ranoliya said, “Thanks to the S30670, we are able to cater to niche applications like printing of curtains on coated fabric medium and printing on canvas.” Ad Make outputs over 5,000 sq/ft per month with this printer.
Ad Make is a designing and advertising firm with in-house digital printing facilities. Besides two Epsons, the company houses Neptune wide-format machine, a Konica Minolta and a Canon digital press
According to Epson, the SureColor SC-S30670 is its first ever eco-solvent printer to use the Epson Micro Piezo Thin Film Piezo (TFP) print head. The print head is engineered to deliver double the nozzle density with 720 nozzles per colour.
