Ernakulam-based Anaswara Offset wins big at KMPA Awards
Ernakulam-based Anaswara Offset was one of the biggest winners with total 26 awards, including 12 gold medals, at the KMPA Print Awards 2014, which was held in the sidelines of Print Miracle Expo, on 13 December.

The awards, given by the Kerala Master Printers Association (KMPA), seek to highlight the quality of print works in various segments by the printers from Kerala.
Other major winners include Ernakulam-based Modern Graphics with total 17 awards, Thiruvananthapuram-based Akshara Offset with 13 awards, and Ernakulam-based Five Star Offset Printers and St Francis Press, with 10 awards each.
The awards ceremony, to celebrate ‘Excellence in Printing’ was hosted in the sidelines of Print Miracle Expo 2014, a 3-day mega show conducted by Kerala Master Printers Association (KMPA) at CIAL Trade & Exhibition Centre, Nedumbassery, Cochin, from from 12 to 14 December 2014.
The association announced total 154 awards in various categories, including 62 gold medals, 51 silver medals and 41 certificates. Total 28 print firms took home the awards.
The award ceremony was attended by, among others, A Sethumadhavan, renowned Malayalam writer, popularly known as Sethu; Dev Nair, president, AIFMP; KC Prakash, vice-president (South), AIFMP; Narendra Paruchuri, managing director, Pragati Offset, Hyderabad; and Dr Arved C Huebler, director of Print Media Technology of Chemintz University, Germany.
Anaswara Offset won the gold medals in categories such as menu cards, brochures, business magazine, college magazine, table calendar, posters, book binding, labels, paper bags, and catch covers/wrapper/CD, etc.
The Kerala Master Printers Association (KMPA) is the august body of printers of Kerala. The 33-years-old association is affiliated to the All India Federation of Master Printers, and strives for the uplift of printers in Kerala.
