Esko announces digital finishing market leadership in India
With the demo centre in place at its Bengaluru premises and multiple installations of Kongsberg digital cutting table, Esko has been successful in strengthening its position in India. This includes installations at Galaxy Offset, Manohar Packaging, Ajanta packaging, Global Packaging, Ficus Pax, Sapphire Digital, Colour Mate, JDC Graphics, Glo Color Labs, among others.

The fully configured Kongsberg XN24 table at the demo centre will help the company to showcase the strength and capabilities of the machine. Niranjan Delavictoire, general manager of Esko South Asia said, “The customers can use the demo facility to see first-hand how Kongsberg table handles a vast range of applications: from vinyl kiss-cutting over packaging mock-ups, to heavy-duty milling and flexo plate cutting.”
The firms who have invested in Kongsberg cutting table levarage it to produce signage, POP displays, automotive decals, protective packaging, speciality packaging, exhibition displays, photo albums, wedding cards etc. Ramanan of Glo Colour Labs, said, “We offer the most innovative products in photo application and we required the best technology to achieve this. Hence we chose Esko’s Kongsberg XE10.”
The Chandigarh-based Samgul Graphics & Printers has recently upgraded its existing i-XL24 with a PowerHead and V-notch cutting. Delavictoire explained that the PowerHead is designed for heavy duty materials such as double wall, triple wall and recycled corrugated board, plus the newest environmental boards.
