Esko to unleash flexo force at Labelexpo

The Suite 14 pre-production tool will be up for viewing for the visitors. The software, targeted at the labels and packaging, and sign and display production, is designed to support and manage the packaging and print processes at brand owners, retailers, designers, packaging manufacturers and print service providers, thus creating a common platform for all those involved in the chain.

 

This cross platform software, according to the company, focuses on five key directions; superior quality, task driven interactive editing, improved workflow automation, smart templates, and online supply chain integration. Pradeep Ram, marketing manager, said, "The online chain integration with the smart templates and workflow tickets connect pre-press, to all stakeholders. The operations run virtually anywhere in the world improving time to market and reduced cost."

 

Also showcased at its booth will be the Esko CDI 2530. The system can image digital flexo plates up to 25x30inch (635x762mm). When combined with HD, CDI turns polymer plates into high quality flexo printing plates, capable of greater run-lengths and few washing cycles. 

 

At present there are 34 Esko CDI installations in India.
