Latest in the Kongsberg series, Kongsberg V is available in two sizes: V20 and V24, and is able to work on materials with size 1700x1300 mm / 66”x51” (V20) and 1700x3200 / 66"x126” (V24).

The cutting table is claimed to deliver durability, precision and ease of use and offers a broad selection of tools for cutting, creasing, and plotting activities.

The new Kongsberg is designed for use in signage, displays and packaging sample production. It is also equipped with a camera system, which ensures print-to-cut registration, even with print-distorted materials.

Speaking about the features in the V20, Pradeep Ram, Esko’s marketing manager said “Like all other Kongsberg tables, it has rock-solid construction, which makes the kit last for many production years."

The cutting table is outfitted with a Flexihead for cutting and creasing of packaging material including paperboards and corrugated boards. Furthermore, the unit is geared with the i-cut Suite software to streamline the design to print to cut workflow.

Nirmala Gopalakrishnan, Esko’s sales co-ordinator - South Asia, felt the USP of the kit is ability to offer an extra edge for signage and display shops in an increasingly commoditised market.

“The unique 3D display projects offer higher margins. More and more companies are investing in ArtiosCAD for structural design,” said Gopalakrishnan.
