The event exclusively brings together industry leaders, government bodies, policymakers, NGOs, and innovators to tackle one of the most pressing challenges in the packaging industry: circularity and post-consumer waste management.

With flexible packaging comprising 70% of plastic packaging in India, this event is a unique platform to explore actionable end-solutions, launch pioneering guidelines, and build cross-sector partnerships to revolutionise sustainable packaging practices in the country.

The event will feature a roundtable session on engaging with policymakers and industry stalwarts on translating circularity ambitions into action. Dr Nandini Kumar of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will speak on policy report and design for recyclability guidelines for flexible packaging in India. This will be followed by a panel discussion on advancing circularity in flexible packaging in India. The event will also see the launch of Design Guidelines, a first-of-its-kind framework for designing for recyclability in India.

The opening remarks will be delivered by HE Kimmo Lähdevirta, Ambassador of Finland to India and Salla Ahonen, EVP, sustainability and communications, Huhtamaki.
