Excell Graphics picks up Lombardi Synchroline 430

Showcased at the Vinsak stand (K5 and K8), the all-UV Synchroline 430 accepts rolls in sizes up to 450, has a pre-register system, a Corona treatment unit, a Lombardi patented Air Blade System (ABS), and a servo motor on each of the eight units of the press. Other features include lamination, cold foil, slitter, two die-cutting stations.

The 430 gives Excell an option of printing two-colour on the back of the label.

This is the second Lombardi Synchroline Vinsak has installed. The first was installed at A&A Labels in New Delhi in August last year.

“We have been growing with labels. We aim to being the best in the business,” said Shashwat Bansal, director, Excell. “The Synchroline is a technologically sound machine. Moreover, it offers us an opportunity to expand in the flexible segment.”

Shree Balaji Printers’ label printing business was established some two-and-a-half decade ago by Bansal’s father and uncle, Atul and Anuj, in a single-room environment with a single printing machine. Today, the company operates from three factories totalling to 40,000 sq/ft area.

The company converts 10 crore labels in different sizes and is equipped with four letterpresses and one Mark Andy, besides other converting machinery.

Bansal said, “This machine will become the flagship press for our company, giving us the flexibility, quality and reliability to produce the best products for our clients.”
