Experts speak on web printing at IPAMA meet
More than one hundred participants attended the seminar on web printing organised by the IPAMA, in association with Chennai-based Vibes Academy on Day Three of the exhibition.

V Siva Raja of Hindustan Times was the first speaker and he recalled the veterans of Indian equipment manufacturing, Prem Bandhu Gupta, KD Kohli and Sanat Shah, and shared the company’s best practices with Indian manufacturers.
Pradeep Unni of Amar Ujala offered simple and basic points for flawless production and maintenance the machines.
Stephen J Metcalf of AMS briefed about the advantages of LED UV, such as more applications, less heat and energy consumption, green production.
Vijay Kumar Pandya of QI Press Controls focused on the relationship between a printer and equipment manufacturers. And, Sudeep Bhattarcharjee of the Times Group focused on ‘lean and green’ and the company’s best practices at production plants.
The seminar concluded with a panel discussion by Lal Jayawardene of Wijaya Publication; Vinod Kumar of Manipal Media; Sunil Mehta of Mitsubishi Electric; KR Chandrahas of Pressline and K Nanadkumar of Vibes Academy.
