Falcon Vacuum Pumps & Systems signs 18 deals

Amarjeet Singh of Falcon Vacuum Pumps & Systems said, “Majority of offset presses installed in India are pre-owned. The ratio of new machines to older ones being installed in India is roughly 1:100. This is where we come into picture. The replacement of pumps for older machines is much required and this market is growing.”

The dry running pumps eliminate the use of lubricating oil and thereby eliminate the flow of oil droplets through vacuum vent onto the sheets. The company has already installed more than 5,000 units in India.

“The new oil free dry running pump is well suited for Heidelberg CD and XL series presses. The older machines used impeller technology pumps which consume high energy as compared to Falcon’s oil free pumps which implement rotary vane technology,” added Singh.

The company has recently enhanced its capacity with the installations of CNC turning and milling machines which has bolstered the production capacity from 80 units per month to 200 units per month.
