The Digital Corrugated Experience is an educational and experiential area, which will highlight the advantages of using digital print in the corrugation and retail displays. Targeted visitors for this programme are packaging converters and box-makers emphasising on the integration of digital technology into the production line. According to Smithers Pira report, the digitally printed corrugated material is expected to grow from USD 1.44 billion to USD 2.35 billion by 2020 which reflects the need for the awareness of digital printing in corrugation sector.
Print Make Wear is an interactive session for the visitors for understanding application of screen and digital printing in the garment industry. Live demonstration from the initial design to final product will be arranged during the show.
Neil Felton, CEO, Fespa said, “Our work with Smithers Pira highlighted two opportunities for Fespa to deliver tangible value to our visitors. First, help PSPs and packaging converters dive deeper into the potential opportunities in digital printing of corrugated board and, secondly, delivering a focused educational experience around garment printing. This newly expanded educational programme gives visitors a broad spectrum of opportunities to explore potential paths to business growth.”
Fespa will share the findings of the Fespa Print Census 2018 during the Berlin event. The survey with over 1,400 print service providers will highlight the industry trends and projections for the future.
