Fespa’s Asian show will be hosted in February in Bangkok for its second year running, after the success of the inaugural event last year. Taking place at the BITEC exhibition centre from 22 to 24 February 2018, Fespa Asia has had re-books from last year, and will feature the likes of InkTec, M&R and Caldera as well as Stahls, Monti Antonio and Foilack making their Fespa Asia debuts.
Following on from its debut show last year when visitor representation came from more than 60 countries, it is now aiming for footfall of around 6,000.
Fespa divisional director Roz Guarnori said: “We are very optimistic given the market research that we’ve independently carried out over the past six months, the growth of speciality printing in Asia means that Fespa Asia is even more important next year to provide the platform of education, networking and business for the ASEAN region.
“We are hearing news about exciting new launches, as yet very much under wraps but visitors should expect to see ways in which they can further exploit existing markets as well as develop new business through diversification.
Meanwhile, Fespa will be hosting a series of seminars under the theme “Trends Theatre” at Fespa Global Print Expo 2018. The event is slated from 15-18 May 2018 at Messe Berlin, Germany.
The global print expo is expected to cover nine halls of the Berlin Messe showcasing screen, digital and textile printing solutions. Fespa Global Print Expo 2018 will be co-located with European Sign Expo for non-printed visual communication solutions.
Fespa along with the research organisations will be presenting series of white papers during the seminar programme.
Also, Smithers Pira team will be talking about five key areas – decor, digital textile, signage, industry and digital print for packaging. It will be conducting daily seminars throughout the three-day print expo with emphasis on how print service providers can benefit from the market growth.
Sonja Angerer, industry editor and owner of Rrrabbitproductions, will moderate a daily panel discussion on one of the five topics - I can see clearly now - industrial inkjet after the hype; Our house in the middle of our street - new opportunities in the décor markets; Boxes, little boxes - digital printing and the packaging industry; Signage Printing - should You Take The Money and Run?
Duncan MacOwan, head of events at Fespa, said, “By accessing the seminar sessions most relevant to visitors’ development plans, they will take away valuable insights that will help their business take off."
