Fespa Digital 2014 scheduled for 20-23 May

Fespa Digital 2014, scheduled between 20-23 May, at the Munich Exhibition Centre, is conceptualised with four hubs; digital, textile, wrap and signage. Each hub is targetted to provide the visitors with explicit content and demonstrations under each segment; a ‘distilled insight’, according to the organisers.

The Digital Hub, delivered in partnership with Mimaki and the Fabric Hub, sponsored by Kornit Digital, will showcase live demonstrations of the technology as well as applications.

Some of the leading names exhibiting their offerings for the industry include Agfa Graphics, Bordeaux Digital Printink, Canon Europe, Color-Dec Italy, Esko Graphics, Fujifilm Specialty Ink System, GEW, HP, Mimaki, MultiCam, Mutoh, Roland DG, Sun Chemical, Xaar and Zund.

With its focus on the signage industry, the Signage Theatre, co-located in the European Sign Expo, will offer market research and presentations on channel lettering, sign installation best practices and soft signage.

Additionally, the visitors can view the shortlisted entries to the Fespa Awards 2014.

Fespa head of events and new media, Duncan MacOwan commented, “This year we have distilled the learning element of the Fespa digital experience to make it easier for visitors to identify opportunities they want to hear more about and find them on the show floor during their busy schedules at the show. In addition to technical tips and business building guidance, themes running through all the hubs will focus on industrial interior decoration and leading innovative applications for digital print technology.”

The previous edition of Fespa Digital (2013) had a footfall of 4,967 visitors.
