Sean Holt, general secretary at Fespa, said, “The events are in accordance with our Profit for Purpose programme, demonstrating our commitment to reinvesting in the global print community through a range of centrally funded and locally supported initiatives. Our Brazil forums reached a wider audience across the country which is why we have chosen to replicate this format in Africa. The forums will provide printers and signage providers in East and West Coast of Africa access to Fespa events. Delivering events with local associations mean that the content delivered are tailored according to the market requirement.”

The Profit for Purpose is the main thought that keeps Fespa going and it pledges to support global printers through multiple projects including regional events.

The second edition of Southern European Congress will be held in Milan, Italy from 19 to 20 April, and the event is organised by Apigarh, Fespa Espana, Fespa France and Fespa Italia Associations. The wow effect of print as a business booster and inside and outside the home and industrial and 3D printing will be some of the topics discussed at the event.

The Print Mexico Congress will be held on 19 May 2016 in Mexico City, with the support of Fespa Mexican Association. The day-long event will provide insight on digital, screen, and textile printing. The Fespa Africa forums will take place in Lagos, Nigeria and Nairobi, Kenya and both the events will be about the print and signage market.
