Andy Cook, managing director of FFEI, said, “We are delighted to announce this investment, which underlines our commitment to the business. We have lot of new products which are being developed both in our digital printing and life science businesses that need both flexible and modern facilities.”

Cook said, “Building on the success of our inkjet label press, Caslon, we plan to introduce several new inkjet products later in the year, which required a major investment in our infrastructure.”
Cook added, “With the success of our RealPro workflow and packaging software products announced in 2013, we will be focused on modernising our infrastructure and launching digital devices.”

FFEI will begin the transition to its new facilities in July once the building is ready. Cook confirmed that the £10m-turnover firm had undergone a restructure in 2012 when it ceased development work for Fujifilm’s XMF software products.
