The food sector is looking at product innovation, finding new innovations in terms of nutritional aspects, as well as biodegradable packaging or using waste for packaging. With this in mind, the exhibition Tool Towards Innovation is being conducted to discuss the role of ingredients in health and wellness, as well as business trends and regulatory challenges in the food ingredient ecosystem.
As per an official note shared with WhatPackaging? magazine, "The market for food ingredients in India is growing quickly as a result of rising customer demand for effective ingredients for health and wellbeing, where they constantly lookout for visible ingredient labelling, with environment friendly sources, and a surge in the popularity of ready-to-eat meals. These changes have a significant influence on the items that are created to satisfy various customer needs. Modern developments in the food and nutrition sector are also fuelling innovation, including the utilisation of traditional bioactive substances, individualised nutrition, and alternative plant-based protein sources."
In this sense, FICCI's 2nd National Conference of Food Ingredients will showcase innovations made by brands, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers in the food industry in the field of food ingredients. Attendees will have the chance to gain crucial insights on strategies for rapid expansion, opportunities and challenges in the market, emerging trends, and a lot more.
