FICCI reveals speakers for IFNIS 2021 summit
FICCI’s virtual summit - India Food and Nutrition Innovation Summit 2021 - supported by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, will be held from 27-28 October 2021. The summit will touch upon the latest developments in the food processing industry.

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has revealed the speakers for its India Food and Nutrition Innovation Summit 2021 (IFNIS 2021), which will be held from 27-28 October 2021
The virtual summit is steered by FICCI’s Food Processing Committee and has been supported by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). It is co-organised by Thinking Forks,
According to FICCI, the summit would be showcasing “new age disruptive food products, technologies and scientific advances” in the food and nutrition ecosystem “fostering towards a healthier India”.
“As the Covid-19 pandemic has progressed, the Indian food processing industry is experiencing a paradigm shift towards increasing consumer awareness about the role of food and nutrition in the well being, immunity and overall health of consumers,” a FICCI spokesperson told WhatPackaging?. “The Indian food industry is at the crossroads of exploring the emerging health trends and meeting consumer needs by launching new healthier products and reformulating their existing ones using functional ingredients and disruptive technological advances.”
Recognising this, the spokesperson said, the IFNIS 2021 virtual platform has been envisaged to bring forth innovations in food and nutrition domain by brands, entrepreneurs, manufacturers and academia in the food industry with an opportunity to seek critical insights on products backed by science and technology with taste and convenience that will drive the future.
