The installation of the Bindwel BW@2500 V24 and Trimit 30C at PT Yudhistira Ghalia Indonesia's facility highlights Bindwel’s ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions to meet the demands of high-volume book production. Established in 1971 as part of the Ghalia Indonesia Group, Yudhistira is a pioneer in publishing educational books for students across all levels, from elementary to vocational schools, as well as college textbooks. The company annually produces more than 50 million books, supported by its robust press setup, which includes web offset presses from Solna and TPH, sheetfed presses from Heidelberg, Komori and Mitsubishi, and perfect binding lines from Wohlenberg and Yoshino.

Speaking about the partnership, PT Yudhistira Ghalia Indonesia's chairman, Edfian Noerdin said, "I was pleased to visit New Delhi, and meet some leading book printers. Every one of them had bookbinding machines from Bindwel. I was also impressed by their technology and decided to invest in their machines."

The installation was made possible through the efforts of Bindwel’s Indonesian partner, Handoko Fariady, whose 25-year relationship with Edfian Noerdin was instrumental in securing the project. Fariady has previously supplied TPH web offset presses and Yoshino binders to Yudhistira, further cementing his position as a trusted collaborator for the company.

With plans to establish a dedicated service centre in Jakarta, Bindwel is poised to enhance its support for customers across Southeast Asia. The facility will enable faster service responses, efficient after-sales support, and a closer connection to the regional market.

Mayur Bharate, director for exports at Bindwel, emphasised the significance of this expansion, stating, "This installation at Yudhistira is a proud moment for Bindwel. It underscores our commitment to delivering world-class bookbinding solutions and personalised support to our customers." Bharate added, "With the upcoming service centre in Jakarta, we are excited to strengthen our presence in Southeast Asia and continue building strong partnerships in the region."

With this move, Bindwel is set to make an impact in Southeast Asia, leveraging its innovative technology and customer-centric approach to serve the region's growing publishing industry.
