The USP of the product is its compactness and robust built, which allows installing and running in limited space.

Speaking to PrintWeek India, Vivekanand Kulkarni, manager sales, Megtec said,”AR35-I is a product of Megtec Sweden, which has over 1000 installations worldwide. This splicer saw its ‘Made in India’ launch in 2009 and since then the Indian version has had over 150 installations.”

This shaft-less splicer can be installed at right angle to the press, inline or in the basement. It has a high load bearing capacity such that a four-high tower or mono unit can be easily installed over it.

Its key users in India include Amar Ujala Group, Lokmat Group, Pratidini Publications, Kolkata and Makkal Kural Chennai and many book printers to add.

Besides this, the company will showcase other printing products like infeed, web tension booster, air floatation dryers, chill rolls etc.
