Fujifilm India showcases latest technologies at Drupa

At Drupa, Fujifilm presented products in both the commercial print and packaging. Notable debuts included the Jet Press FP790, a digital press for mainstream flexible packaging production, and the Revoria GC 12500, a toner-based B2 press with the largest sheet size of B2 XL available in digital presses. The flagship Jet Press 750S and the Kama inline cutting line were also showcased.

The company introduced two new clean sheet technologies in the 85 PPM and 100 PPM categories: the Revoria Press EC 2100S and Revoria Press SC 285S. Both feature five stations capable of printing additional colours beyond CMYK. The Jet Press 1160CFG, designed for digital book printing, also made its debut. 

Rajams Digital Offset Prints and Suvi Color Spot from India won awards at the Innovation Print Awards 2024 for their ‘Photo Book’ and ‘Happy Wedding Photobook,’ respectively, using Fujifilm's Revoria Press PC1120.

In the industrial section, Fujifilm presented its Acuity range of printers and 'Aquafuze' ink technology, reflecting its focus on wide format inkjet. The 'RxD Series' pigment dispersion and new print heads demonstrated Fujifilm’s ongoing efforts in the industry, and carbon-neutral production and processless plates underscored its approach to sustainability in digital printing.

Priyatosh Kumar, head of graphic arts communication at Fujifilm India, said, “We were thrilled to showcase our latest innovations at Drupa 2024.” Kumar added, “Our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer success drives us to continually develop solutions that not only meet but exceed industry standards.”

Fujifilm has led graphic communications for decades, pioneering print technology from digital plates to high-performance presses. 

In 2023, the company merged its graphic communications division with Fujifilm business innovation corporation, enhancing access to global customers and manufacturing systems. This integration positioned Fujifilm as a global solutions provider, offering analogue offset and digital printing services, including inkjet, dry toner, and DX solutions through workflow software.
