Fujifilm notches 10 Acuity installations in South India
Fujifilm India has recorded 10 installations of their Acuity series of wide-format printers in South India.

The UV inkjet technology-based printers can print on a range of rigid and flexible media for different types of application and is useful for sign and screen printers, display printers, packagers and digital printers. It is said to print both small and large banners, retail advertising and window graphics, backlit displays, pop- and roll-up displays, custom wall coverings, transit graphics, posters, exhibition and event signage.
The number breaks down as three Acuity Select, one Acuity EY and six Acuity LED 1600 spread across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. Kerala has maximum installation of four machines while Tamil Nadu and Karnataka have three each.
Sriraam Color Lab in Chennai was the first buyer of the Acuity Advance Select. At the time when the machine was installed, Lakshmanan Ramani of Sriraam Colour Lab, said, "We've launched our new gallery with a unique 3D printing possibility that allows us to cater to outdoor 3D signage."
Kerala-based Indot Color World have invested in two Acuity with one each in Chalakudy and Chennai respectively.
The Acuity is a versatile UV printer with four, six or eight- colour channels including white and clear options. According to Fujifilm sources, it is a perfect combination of photographic print quality, production output and investment cost. It prints at up to 32.8 sqm/hr.
