Fujifilm sets up a demo centre in Mumbai
At Media Expo's Mumbai edition (15-17 January), Fujifilm announced the launch of its demo centre in Mumbai. Pradipta Chowdhury, manager sales-WFU, graphic arts division at Fujifilm informed that the inauguration ceremony of the centre would be held on 22 January 2016.

The demo centre will house the Acuity LED 1600, Acuity Advance Select and Acuity EY wide format printers at the demo centre. This UV inkjet technology-based printers can print on a range of rigid and flexible media for different types of application.
The inauguration ceremony will be followed by a live demonstration of the machines and interactive sessions.
At the show, Fujifilm displayed the Acuity LED 1600, wide format UV inkjet printer.
There have been ten installations of the Acuity LED 1600 and six of the Acuity Advance Select machine to date. Among the installations, one of the Acuity Advanced Select was installed at Neat Graphics in Mumbai and the Acuity LED 1600 each at Bengaluru-based SGR and Sun Soft in Sangli, Maharashtra.
Chowdhury said, “The day one was a slow start for the show as it was a festive day but the second and the third day saw the increase in the number of footfalls.”
The Acuity LED 1600 is an established hybrid roll-fed printer featuring a low-energy LED curing system and is suitable for rigid and very thin flexible materials.
