New Delhi-based Galaxy Offset has invested in Yii Lee, a fully automatic dry lamination machine.
Talking about the investment, Vikas Gulati of Galaxy Offset said, ”We zeroed on this machine for two reasons. The first being the quality of the machine and the second being of Suba Solutions who are the dealers for Yii Lee laminating machines in India. Suba’s strength lies in its strong technical team and provides good servicing.”
The machine uses water-based glue for lamination and has a laminating width of 1200x900mm. With this machine multiple rolls can be laminated in one go and can be immediately printed or used for finishing after lamination process.
Gulati said, “The machine has a maximum speed of 60m/minute and we run the machine easily at 50-55m/min. Also, the machine can be used to laminate a range of substrates from art paper to card paper. This helps us to save cost.” The firm uses the machine majorly for the lamination on met-pet and the remaining 10% is used for commercial jobs.
Gulati said, “The machine is compatible with all the major presses. Also, Yii Lee being PUR based, once the substrate is laminated it does not need drying and can directly go for printing. This helps us to save a lot of time. Additionally, the machine is compact in size and helps save space too.”
Galaxy Offset offers a range of products and services like designing to distribution and mailing service for the commercial and packaging segment.
