Galgo Cricket League brings together the print fraternity from Delhi-NCR
Galgo Fine Papers, the one-stop paper solution company, took its tradition of innovation a step further by the ‘out of box’ idea of bringing the battle of brains to the cricket greens in the form of a cricket tournament, Galgo Cricket League.

The first edition of the Galgo Cricket League took place on 4, 11 and 12 April 2015 at ITM Grounds, Gurgaon, with active participation from the print and creative fraternity based in Delhi-NCR. Participants included Thomson Press, Lustra, Weiden Kennedy, Penguin Random House, Vivek Sahni Design, Avantika Printers, Innocean, Reed Elsevier, and others, all of whom fought for the GCL Trophy with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
It was an exciting event, which offered the enthusiastic cricket lovers from the corporate houses a competitive, challenging and exciting experience of playing cricket with the true spirit of the game. The games also provided the participants a platform to socialise with the other players and cricket lovers from the media, advertising, creative and print fraternity.
Amidst the brilliant display of the game, Team Innocean won the GCL 2015 trophy. The GCL 2015 runners-up trophy went to Team Thomson.
During the award ceremony, Rahul Joshi, captain, Team Innocean, expressed his admiration on the way the tournament was conducted. “Our team has played in various tournaments, but by far, this was the best,” he added.
Amit Shrivastava, Captain, Team Thomson, also praised the Galgo team for taking this initiative and appreciated the arrangements and hospitality.
