“Over the years, we have been known more as a solution provider than just an equipment supplier. We will maintain that at the show again,” said Niklaus Amacker, head of corporate communications, Gallus Group.
Amacker feels that the consumer buying behaviours have changed with the modernisation of retail trade. “More shelf space has been created for brand owners to display their products. P-o-P leading to the concept of ‘Package is the Product’ has driven high product decoration which attracts consumer buying behaviour. Package decoration is playing a key role in product differentiation,” he said.
Adding to it, Samir Patkar, managing director, Gallus India, said, “The India of today is young and the purchasing power of this ‘young India’ is increasing. The western world has moved closer to the East and so have the living habits. Indians are getting more focused on personal and healthcare and hence can be reflected in the consumption on daily basis on such products. ”
Gallus India – the newly founded company – is headquartered in Mumbai and has branches in Bengaluru and soon in Delhi.
