Gallus pushes flexibility of folding carton system
Gallus is showcasing its solutions for the packaging market at Drupa, and is putting the emphasis on flexibility and efficiency.

“The market has become shorter-run and more variable, so we provide completely flexible systems to react to that,” said Stefan Hagn, head of marketing and product management.
The company is running on its stand the Gallus ICS 670, which can make folding carton products from roll to finished product in one pass using a modular system.
Gallus, as part of its ongoing process optimisation to move closer to the customer in the emerging markets, has restructured its operations in Asia.
The company has opened two offices for sales and service in Asia. The offices for Gallus India is located in Mumbai and the one at Singapore will be for Gallus South East Asia (Gallus SEA).
Gallus in India had maintained sales and service cooperation with Heidelberg India, a Gallus stakeholder, and now has established its own sales centre.
Gallus India started its independent operations on 1 December 2011.
The new operation in India is headed by Samir Patkar as its managing director who was earlier in charge of Gallus products at Heidelberg India.
