Gartex Texprocess is the country’s largest and the most comprehensive trade show in its segments

Gartex Texprocess is the country’s largest and the most comprehensive trade show in its segments, such as garment and textile machinery manufacturing technology, denim, digital and screen printing, knitting, fabrics, accessories and more.

The show will host more than 200 exhibitors, including 25 new exhibitors; 600+ brands and 15+ new product launches.

There will also be industry stakeholders; officials from the government departments and ministries; officials from the leading textile associations; c-suite executives from the exhibiting brands; industry experts and innovators; besides Denim mill owners; fabric brands; digital and screen-printing brands; knitting and accessories brands and others.

Textile and Denim manufacturing processes are water-intensive. Aware of the sustainability concerns, several participating denim manufacturing brands and manufacturing machinery and technology brands are taking measures, such as using solar energy and reusing dyed waste converted into yarn, among others. These are small steps leading towards a larger goal of reducing water consumption.

The show floor will give you access to home-grown Indian and international brands, showcasing products aimed at sustainability.

These include T-shirts, tags and thread made out of recycled plastic bottles and left-over cotton and garment waste; certified products by Oeko Tex, GOTS (Global organic textile standard), ZDHC Level-3 for a more sustainable future; and sublimation paper products made from 65% recycled fibre sourced from industrial residues, which substantially reduces the need for fresh pulp. This sustainable approach results in a 28% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to conventional sublimation papers.

A garment processing and finishing machinery brand will display its machine which enables ultra-low liquor ratio of 1:3 for washing/ dyeing thereby saving huge quantities of water, resulting in saving of energy and water treatment costs.

An IT-tech brand which offers IT Software for ERP will displaying software that enables viewing the carbon footprint of textile and apparel products, energy consumption besides other aspects.

A garment cutting-room automation brand will offer CAD/CAM software and hardware solutions, and will demonstrate its garment CAD software, vertical inkjet cutter plotter, and automatic fabric spreading and cutting machines, which save 3 to 5% more fabric than any other nesting technology.
