Global5 expands Latex reach

Mumbai-based supplier of wide-format printing machines Global5 Technologiess has announced that it will now be an exclusive dealer for HP’s mid-volume and industrial Latex and UV flatbed machines for the entire Western region of the country.

This development, according to HP’s country sales manager for large-format business Imtiaz Batkoo, is in line with HP’s strategy to create a “defined and refined” business development structure.

“We will work with only four partners in four regions of the country instead of eight partners. With this we will be able to offer customer-focused approach and better service to our clients,” added Batkoo.

Speaking on the restructure, Global5 director Prashant Khomne said that this enables the company to go beyond Maharashtra and Gujarat and develop the market in Madhya Pradesh, Goa and Chattisgarh.

The company has demo centres in Mumbai and Pune and regional offices in Nashik, Goa, and Bhopal. According to Khomne, Global5 has installed more than 300 HP Latex machines including two recently launched Latex 3100 machines. “Our USP is an excellent service and application specialist team which is engaged in new application development for Latex, media testing and certification.”

According to the new structure, Insight will take care of the Northern region, Trisita Marketing in the East and Capricot Technologies in the South. The new structure has been effective since 1 May 2016.
