Globe Print n Pack uses transparent PET, PP and PVC materials and films extensively to produce promotional packs for in-store marketing. Rahul Gupta, owner, Globe Print n Pack, said, “The base of promotional packaging is to draw the consumer’s attention, to enhance the product image and boost the brand. Our promotional packages have to be elegant and colourful to enhance the sales appeal of the merchandise.”

Vijay Dhamne, head of packaging design at Globe Print n Pack said, “Earlier before we installed the Esko software, we needed to create and input key lines to process the file for prepress which consumed time. ArtiosCAD helps us in building 3D models which are shared with brand owners. If the concept designs are still in the approval stage, new design iterations based on additional briefs by the client can be executed at a faster pace with Esko software.”

Dhamne said, “With Esko’s DeskPack and Plato solutions, the operational timing has been brought down to half an hour and with absolute precision and to create print-ready production files.”

Gupta added that “The Esko’s software has helped us in developing key line designs and also in filming a short video on how to form a pack by die-cutting flat substrates, which useful both for brand owners and the workers in the converting and finishing department. Also, Esko has a sound technical team and can support and assist our designers.”

“Globe Print n Pack is growing annually by around 15% while approximately 16% of our finished goods are exported. We have a plan for future expansion and are looking at processing and printing on an even larger variety of substrates using digital presses,” concluded Gupta.
