Hanno Hoffstadt, leader of the GMG research team said: "FlexoProof is designed for package printers to empower them with the predictability that was previously thought unachievable. It is a pioneering technology developed to calculate profiles for simulating the combined printing of spot and process colours."

The cloud-based tool for softproofing, GMG collaboration solution, to be launched at the show, has been integrated with tools for central management and control of all correction and approval procedures. The collaboration tool is the first in a series of the cloud-based solutions, providing GMG colour management integration. The portfolio includes online colour conversions, allowing users to apply colour correction without expert knowledge or local software installations.

The tool is targeted at organisations across the publishing segment, from advertising agencies, photographers and repro studios, to printers and publishers, through to the brand owners themselves.

Ian Scott, managing director of GMG said: "Our solutions are not abstract laboratory developments, they are tools that offer very specific customer benefits, and therefore offer real advantages in productivity.”

The raft of solutions on display at Drupa includes GMG ProductionSuite, which made its debut at Fespa Digital 2012. The application is integrated with a full range of functions needed in wide-format production, including a PDF Editor, RIP, SmartProfiler and PrintStation.

GMG will be exhibiting in Hall 4, Stand B25.
