GMG receives Award for Innovation

Sponsored by Flint Group Narrow Web, the award was for specific innovation introduced by a supplier or converter company in the label industry in 2018.

With the GMG Calibration Creation Wizard, users of the Epson SC-S80600 were able to quickly and easily create accurate, reproducible proofs on media close to the production material. The software is fully integrated with GMG ColorProof and GMG OpenColor, enabling operators to create specific profiles for various media types as well as benefit from reliable calibrations.

“We realised how high the demand for colour accurate mock-ups really is. To get an idea of what the product will look like in the end, consistent colour appearance needs to be maintained on every compatible substrate,” Schöffler said.

The symbiosis of GMG colour management, production-related media, and the Epson SC-S80600 was particularly interesting for users in the fields of flexible packaging, corrugated board, folding carton and labels.
