Government officials invited by NBT for job application

The National Book Trust, under the ministry of human resource development, has invited applications from central or state government officials for the position of regional manager at its western regional office in Mumbai.

The post will be on deputation basis with a payroll of Rs 15,600-39,100 plus grade pay of Rs 6,600. The tenure of the position is one-year which will be extended on year to year basis.
 
Interested candidates serving in government departments, offices or corporations may apply through proper channel in the prescribed application format. The format, along with eligibility criteria and terms and conditions are made available by NBT on its official website, http://www.nbtindia.gov.in/.
 
\Last date for application is 30 June. NBT informs applicants to send all relative documents along with the completed application form to NBT addressing their deputy director in Delhi office.
NBT, established by the government of India in the year 1957, is a professional body set up for the promotion of literature in English, Hindi and regional languages.
 
It organises book fairs, exhibitions and seminars to encourage and improve reading habits in the country.
