Grafik Machinery’s second UV curing system in Dubai
Grafik Machinery has announced the installation of its second UV curing system and an automatic sheet stacker in Dubai. The UV curing system has been installed on Desco’s Presstek 34 DI digital printing machine. This is Grafik’s fourth overseas installation in the last 12 months.

Desco is a 32+ print centre company, manned by 200 proficient staff in the UAE and Canada. “Desco was facing problems with printing jobs on special papers and found a solution in UV ink. With Grafik UV drier and stack unit, the company is now able to print high-end jobs with short turnover time,” said K Bhuvan, engineer at Age Grapics Equipment in Dubai, Grafik’s local representative.
Grafik’s other recent overseas install is its Print Plus Coat, the coating device installed on a Ryobi offset press at a print house in Romania.
Besides exports, Grafik claims to have installed 25 UV curing systems in India. Kanishk Jain, a director at Grafik, said, “High performance with a comparatively low capital investment is the USP of our machines,” he said, adding, “we also support the Make in India concept.”
The company’s products other than UV curing systems, sheet stackers and Print Plus Coat, are IR driers, interdeck UV curing systems, and roller coaters.
Overall, the company has over 200 installations worldwide.
