Gurgaon’s Standard Copier opts for Konica Minolta C1085
Gurgaon-based Standard Copier, the two-decade-old digital printing company, has invested in a Konica Minolta Bizhub Press C1085.

Nitin Srivastav, proprietor of the company, said, “Quality has always been our focus. Konica Minolta is one of the leaders in printing machinery and provides quality and timely services, which is very important in our industry. Above all, we found Konica Minolta to be cost effective.”
Srivastav said the company has been associated with Konica Minolta for more than five years and would love to continue with them in all its expansion plans in the near future. The company now plans to triple its print production from one to three lakh print copies per month.
The Konica Minolta Bizhub Press C1085 is an 85 ppm machine which can print up to the size of 13x19-inches. It can print up to 350 gsm auto duplex, the only machine in the price range which can do it. The machine is suitable for visiting cards, brochures, packaging products and promotional/marketing materials.
Srivastav, a graduate from the University of London, said, “With the machine, now, we can service around 300 clients per day. We are looking at taking the numbers to double, which will in turn, help us boost our production.”
He said the company’s expected growth rate after the new investment would be close to three-four times and return on investment would be visible in a span of two years. “We are planning to take our production to such a level that ROI can be realised before the expected date,” said Srivastav, adding, “We have always been great believers of adapting according to the market expectations.”
In this step forward, Standard Copier is now looking at taking the whole printing segment online to cater to both nation and international markets. “Over and above, we are looking at expanding our palate of services to more specialised service ranges from all kinds of binding to lamination under one roof. This initiative would include offering services to our customers in the best market price and quality.”
Standard Copier employs 20 people who work in 2,000 sq/ft area and consumes 5,000 sheets daily.
