Headquartered in Hyderabad, Halftone Die Makers has expanded its presence by establishing a new facility in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, following its earlier expansion in Guwahati.
Murali Nandyala, founder and director of Halftone Die Makers, said, "Our goal is to establish a multi-location presence to serve customers faster and better. With Haridwar operational, we are focusing on opening our Bengaluru plant in April. We aim to reduce waiting times and deliver dies as quickly as possible. A local presence will play a pivotal role in providing efficient customer service. Currently, we serve more than 1,000 clients from our three locations.”
Halftone Die Makers has three Germany-made Lasercomb machines. The company is also strengthening its Haridwar facility with the installation of a CNC milling machine.
Nikhil Kyramkonda, who oversees the Haridwar plant, expressed his enthusiasm about the company’s growth, saying, "I am thrilled about the direction our company is headed. We are continuously evolving and striving to deliver the best to our customers. The industry response to our Haridwar facility has been overwhelmingly positive. The plant is well-equipped to meet customer demands, and we plan to expand further by adding more greenfield areas to enhance operations."
Specialising in laser die-making, flexo-plate making, and digital printing, the company also focuses on manufacturing steel rule dies, rotary dies, and embossing dies for various industries and applications. While its headquarters are in Hyderabad, the company operates plants in Guwahati and Haridwar, with a focus on serving the packaging industry through the supply of rotary rubber dies.
One of Halftone Die Makers’ latest ventures includes rotary die-making. The company now wants to enter into high-end laser rotary die production. The company also plans to expand its export market beyond its current reach in South Africa to several other countries.
Halftone Group, co-founded by Murali Nandyala and his younger brother Sreekanth Nandyala, has been a significant player in the industry since its establishment in 1999. The group is involved in pre-press operations, including offset printing plates, photopolymer printing plates, films, and blocks, as well as finishing processes focused on die manufacturing. However, the company has no plans to enter the printing sector and will continue to expand its offerings in pre- and post-press services.
