HCL strengthens Intec's Indian presence

The Premium HCL Service will provide service support under HCL Care, HCL Infosystems’ Service and Support Division. The IT giant has initiated participation in exhibitions and events across the country to communicate about the benefits of heavy stock printing. These include last month’s Interprint Expo 2012 in New Delhi and the Photo Today event in Bengaluru earlier in the year.

Commenting on the partnership, Ian Melville, managing director at Intec said, “India, with its growing economy and demographic size, is a large potential market. There is a strong appetite for improving the quality and efficiency of print production and this can be achieved with digital technology.” He added, “Intec printers provide on demand short run high quality full colour print on to a huge range of substrates and media up to 600gsm and up to 1.2 metres (49 inches). We have great expectations of the sales progress in India as the country has the potential to be Intec’s biggest single market within the next two years.”
