HCL strengthens Intec's Indian presence

Singhal considers this development as an opportunity to cater to the printing and packaging industry in the country. Commenting on the partnership, Ian Melville, managing director at Intec said, “India, with its growing economy and demographic size, is a large potential market. There is a strong appetite for improving the quality and efficiency of print production and this can be achieved with digital technology.” He added, “Intec printers provide on demand short run high quality full colour print on to a huge range of substrates and media up to 600gsm and up to 1.2 metres (49 inches). We have great expectations of the sales progress in India as the country has the potential to be Intec’s biggest single market within the next two years.”
