The idea is to provide practical advice and case studies along with guidance and shopfloor best practices, so that the operators and supervisors can take good care of their printing machine and avoid frequent press breakdowns.
Curated by Bombay Master Printers’ Association and PrintWeek India, Seekho aur Samjho aims to fill up the massive training void in our industry.
Along with industry veterans, young students get an opportunity to hone their print skills and learn from industry expert’s experiences during a Seekho Aur Samjho session. The three-hour workshops have been designed in Hindi and occasionally in Marathi.
BMPA’s Faheem Agboatwala said, “Everyone speaks about the importance of training programmes for shopfloor workers. Everyone talks about the relevance of providing a to-do list to maintain standards and identify the hotspots within the industry. Seekho Aur Samjho is a small step to do so.”
Agboatwala has requested all the print CEOs to send their staff to attend these workshops. “The time spent by your employee at SaS can bring about hours of productivity benefit to your company. In the last two years, we have observed that the workers are curious to learn, they tackle with technical pain-points on daily basis. I urge the CEOs to send their shopfloor people to attend the workshops and benefit from the initiative.”
