Heidelberg finalises the PrintPack deals
Heidelberg has announced that the team at the PrintPack India show cracked two more deals during the five-day show.

PrintWeek had broken the news of Manesar-based Kumar Printers signing a deal with Heidelberg for the installation of its Speedmaster CX 104 during the show. The other two deals are signed by New Delhi’s Samrat Offset and Bengaluru-based Sukee Print Pack. Heidelberg India’s president Samir Patkar informed that “a few more CX 104 installations are lined-up in other regions”.
Talking about the new investment of Speedmaster CX 92, Abhishek Singh of Samrat Offset, commented, “We are into commercial, book, wide-format printing, and packaging jobs. The size format and the technical features are good on the CX 92. Hence, we will be able to increase our productivity into multi-fold.”
Sumanth Volety, director at Sukee Print Pack, said, “We are excited to welcome the Speedmaster CX 104 seven-colour press with coating unit to our press line. We are confident this will be huge leap in our growth story, and we are eagerly looking forward for its installation and production.”
Heidelberg India had participated in the 15th edition of Print Pack India, jointly with Gallus, IST Metz and Polar at the show held between 26-30 May 2022 at India Expo Mart Centre at Greater Noida near New Delhi.

This year, Heidelberg India participated under the theme – Unfold Your Potential – showcasing Prinect Live demo solutions centre, Information centre for lifecycle solutions, with an exclusive offer on Saphira range of consumables and discounts for spare parts on Heidelberg, Polar, MK Masterwork, and Gallus equipment. The Heidelberg booth had dedicated information areas for Gallus and IST Metz, which were managed by product experts throughout the show.
The commercial and packaging business seemed to be a growing trend, and the publishing industry is making a comeback in India. Heidelberg presented live demonstrations of Prinect to more than 40 printers during the show.
Patkar said, “Prinect workflow is one of the decisive workflows for the print and packaging companies which gives comprehensive benefits at pre-press and press. Also, we presented the Heidelberg solutions to the print owners with focus on how to reduce the yellow bar, how to increase the overall equipment efficiency with our latest nex-gen Heidelberg presses.Our product experts discussed the benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) factor and digitisation of processes, which collaborate with the
Heidelberg presses and enabling an ecosystem to provide high productivity and return on investment (ROI).”
