Heidelberg grabs prestigious awards at MMA’s award ceremony

Heidelberg India won a series of awards; best team and best young manager, at the event organised by Madras Management Association (MMA).

The theme of the event was 'India 2015 - restoring confidence, regaining momentum,' the objective being to encourage out-of-the-box thinking among young corporate professionals.

MMA is an organisation based out of Chennai that provides training courses for managers and also recognises the managerial talents across India.

The contest included a written submission of researched ideas and a live presentation for 15 minutes. The event witnessed participation from representatives across diverse industries, including Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Rane Brake linings, CTS and Heidelberg India.

Heidelberg India represented by Ganesh Kumar from the sales department, Venthan from IT and Madhukar from finance, won the best team title. Kumar won the best young manager title, one of the most coveted awards established by the MMA.

Kumar shared his success story with the other participants. He said, “We focused specifically on maximum governance and minimum government. We also pitched innovative ideas such as gold-related financial instruments, organic farming and a single window system for entrepreneurs. The judging panel was impressed and appreciated our thoughts. We are really proud to be part of Heidelberg and glad to be bringing accolades to the company that we value so much.”
