Heidelberg's CS 92 and Linoprint launched at Print China 2015

The limelight for Heidelberg China (HCN) was the global debut of the Speedmaster CS 92 first-of-its-kind press for Heidelberg in the 92 cm format, designed especially for the commercial printing industry. The first-ever Speedmaster CS 92 in the world will be installed at Chongqing Huacai Color Printing in China.

 

In addition to the CS 92, the new model of Linoprint CV digital printing system was also launched at the show alongwith the Jetmaster 4D printing equipment.

 

At the six-day mega show, HCN also presented an integrated portfolio of pre-press and post-press printing solutions, with emphasis on the finishing-product line, to cater to the present and future market requirements. 

 

Commenting on the Heidelberg Speedmaster CS 92, Klaus Nielsen, managing director, Heidelberg India said, “Our new Speedmaster CS 92 is built on the same lines of CD 102 presses, and the format size is an added advantage, especially for the Indian market, since most commercial printers use double demi-size format, this 37 inch press would be more apt for their jobs." 

 

"Also, the CS 92 comes with superior features like preset plus feeder and delivery, Prinect press centre compact, Alcolor dampening system, Venturi air transfer system and Autoplate. The press is already starting to attract considerable interest from prospective buyers,” he added.
