Henkel hosts regional customer meets
In an endeavour to partner with its customers in the flexible packaging converting fraternity, Henkel is hosting regional customer meets in the Indian subcontinent. The event titled Ad’Vantage 2020 were orgnaised in Sivakasi on the 28 November and in Dhaka on 14 December.

Henkel intends to discuss its differentiated solutions and how it can help customers get a competitive advantage. R Seshadri, head of technical services for flexible laminates presided over the event. He said, “Ad’Vantage 2020 is an event for customers and Henkel to meet on a common platform.
We get an opportunity to showcase to our customers differentiated solutions and also demonstrate why Henkel is a partner of choice when the packaging industry prepares for the next round of disruption.”
Seshadri spoke on the range of adhesives and coatings from Henkel and its focus on circular economy. Innovative equipment solutions like Lioscan, a new inline, contactless and non-destructive coating weight measurement system in flexible laminate production and a remote technical services app, “Remotech” were presented.
The flexible packaging academy, which provides hands-on learning and certification for flexible packaging production techniques was also highlighted.
More than 70 participants from 25 companies attended the event at both venues. Viraj Nayak, regional market strategy manager, packaging said that the event was a success and we have received positive feedback.
One of the customers from Dhaka said, “An excellent initiative by Henkel to work with the converting fraternity in Bangladesh to share with us cutting edge products and new solutions on offer. This is first of a kind event done in Bangladesh.”
Nayak also mentioned that they will conduct Ad’Vantage 2020 regularly across the Indian subcontinent.
