Hi-Tech installs binder at Sood in Ludhiana

Mumbai-based, Hi-Tech Systems have installed a DG binder extra hotmelt glue automation album binding machine at Sood Studios in Ludhiana.

Parag Shah, the head at Hi-Tech, said, “The DG binder extra from Kisun, South Korea allows binding offset as well as photo paper. The machine has the capacity to bind up to 250 albums per day in a single shift.”

“With this installation, we have notched up seven installations for album binding machine across India. This includes SRK and Hira Prints in Mumbai, Arpit Albums in New Delhi, Venus Albums from Amritsar, Pragati Offset in Hyderabad,” added Shah.

The DG binder extra, the hotmelt glueing is useful for back to back binding silver halide (photographic) paper or synthetic paper that sticks with water-based glue. The machine can bind from 20x17 inches maximum to 7x5 inches minimum with spine thickness 50mm.

Hi-Tech has installed 1500 plus machines with 750 plus customers and offers a range of solutions for the digital printer, photo album makers and offset printers. The clientele includes Shree Printwell Offset and The Print & Design Shop.
