Hi-Tech Systems unveils desktop digital die-cutter

Mumbai-based Hi-Tech Systems PFE has launched a desktop digital device for die-cutting, half-cutting, and perforation aimed at digital print finishing.

“The device can handle a maximum sheet size of 350x700mm and grammage of up to 350gsm,” said Parag Shah of Hi-Tech.
 
The system comprises of three components namely loading tray, cutting plotter, and finished sheet tray. It is equipped with a camera-based black mark alignment system, which according to Shah, performs alignment adjustments in few tenths of a second.
 
“The cutting operation is performed in hatching mode, which leaves continuity points on the material to avoid detachment during the operation,” added Shah.
 
Besides this, the company is also showcasing a double hydraulic paper cutter, visiting card cutter, perfecting binding machine, thermal roll lamination, direct-to-garment, computer-to-foil and other digital finishing equipment.
