The printing and packaging technology department of SIES Graduate School of Technology in Navi Mumbai has organised a Job Fair with an objective to create a pool of fresh talent from all major printing and packaging institutes under one roof for recruitment by the industry.
Slated for 27 February 2016, the Job Fair is the brainchild of SIES’ head of the department, Sagar Shejwalkar.
Shejwalkar said, “The initiative is designed for the benefit of students as well as the recruiting companies. The idea is to make a wider and diverse set of talent accessible to the recruiters at one place.”
The Job Fair is open to participation for all the printing and packaging engineers set to graduate in 2016, irrespective of their institute. According to Shejwalkar, this first-of-its-kind Job Fair will have participation from at least 50 companies from printing and packaging sector.
The participation fee of Rs 3000 is applicable for all the recruiting companies while the students will be charged fee of Rs 50. The participant companies will also be able to organise promotional sessions and technical workshops for the students at the campus.
“We will connect with all the major institutes in the country for their support. I urge all the printing and allied firms to register and take advantage of this opportunity and explore the potential of the fresh graduates,” concluded Shejwalkar.
