Holosafe Security Labels installs Nilpeter FB Line

Manjula Mishra, director, Holosafe Security Labels, said, “We are expanding and working to serve industries across the country and overseas. The European giant is the only overseas company which has a manufacturing unit in India.”

The Nilpeter FB Line is a combination of Flexo, gravure, hot foil and cold foil, a die-cutting unit, a specialised conveyor and a stacking system. It can be used for a wide variety of jobs, including pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and IML. 

The machine has a number of added features such as an automated plate positioning system (APPS), and pre-register and re-register functionality and is designed to print value-added labels in the most efficient way at high speeds.

Besides the Nilpeter, Holosafe is also equipped with three other fully automatic UV Flexo, high-speed printing Multitec machines which are fully loaded, eight-colour with online UV coating (gloss, matte, combination) capable of printing a wide range of substrates from paper to a variety of films, with capabilities to produce special effects like drip-off, hybrid, spot UV, registered printing, hot foil and cold foil stamping, lamination, serial numbering and die-cutting with automatic defect detection system.

Pankaj Mishra, CEO of the company, is responsible for technical responsibilities and Manjula Mishra, MD, is responsible for sales & marketing and finance of the company. 

“We are first-generation self-made entrepreneurs.  We left our jobs and started our entrepreneurship journey in 2008. Initially, we started with a hologram vertical and gradually diversified into label production. Our USP is that we can incorporate a range of anti-counterfeiting features in our printed labels” Mishra said. 

She added, “Nowadays, print buyers are looking for a combination of a label/security label with beautification, a combination of high-quality printing and print embellishment. Because there is a lot of piracy in the market, customers need anti-counterfeiting solutions. Security of brands with labels and beautification are major concerns. We combine Flexo printing with holography to serve a dual purpose. So, we combine aesthetic printing with different kinds of anti-counterfeit security features as per the client’s demand.”

Now, Holosafe, which grew around 15% last year, wants to establish itself as one of the best label companies in India with its combination of solutions of Flexo and holography. “When we do labels, we try to add solutions that can reduce counterfeiting,” she said. “We serve brands across a wide range of segments.
