HP at the CEIF 2018 show unveiled vivid green and vivid pink inks especially developed for the Indian photo market in India.
A Appadurai, the country manager, digital press & inkjet business solutions, GSB, HP Inc India said, "The inks were specifically developed by HP's research team for the Indian market. There was a need for a wider gamut of colour to be replicated in print as well, considering the vivacity of dress colours used for Indian weddings and functions."
"With the addition of the vivid green and pink inks, the colour gamut which can be reproduced increases by 135% in print," he informed.
Along with the HP Indigo 7900 on display, the HP stall also hosted its print partners displayed the range of work produced. Appadurai said, "The show is a fantastic platform for us to engage with our end consumers, as 99% of the show's footfall include professional photographers from across the country, especially from the tier II and tier III cities."
Canvera, the online photobooks and album printing company, was also present at HP's stall. Canvera was seen displaying new format of books like royalty, solitaire and super books at the show.
Ranjit Yadav, managing director, Canvera, said, "As we enter 2018, we have kept the photographer community at the centre and find ways to solve their business problems. One such initiative includes Canvera photobooks can be ordered via a mobile application or online. We have also invested in the latest HP presses to deliver quality products to our customers."
