HP's knowledge session for cosmetic brand owners
HP India hosted a knowledge session for cosmetics brand owners and agencies, showcasing the possibilities in labels and packaging using HP digital printing technology.

Attended by around 18 brand managers, including leading cosmetic brands like CavinKare, Lakme, Marico and Avon, the session saw Appadurai A, country manager, Indigo and Inkjet Solutions, HP India, make a detailed presentation on the challenges the brand managers face especially with respect to customer engagement and sales and how can innovation and packaging can help them boost the sales.
“Cosmetic brand managers and agencies are exploring new and creative labels and packaging mediums to reach their end consumers and address key priorities like increasing the response time from the customers, reducing the inventories, fuelling on demand deliveries and promotion capabilities. HP's Indigo digital printing technology is the right answer to all their needs. We are transforming the packaging industry with our passionate customers who are coming out with the creative ideas that helps the brands immensely,” said Appadurai.
Appadurai, concluded, “From the show, we are expecting momentum in commercial printing. Digital is the complementing technology to offset. Where the industry is heading? I think it’s the customer’s choice about how to proceed.”
