HT Media and Times of India invest in IST Metz’s UV curing systems

The UV systems at HT Media are installed on Colorman and TKS presses which were installed on 31 July 2017. Whereas the UV system is slated to be installed on Times of India’s Regioman presses in September 2017. 

 

 

According to the company statement, HT Media was satisfied with the UV systems which were installed in August 2015 on its Regioman presses. Hence during the techno-commercial decision-making process, HT Media’s management went ahead with the repeat orders for its other presses.  

 

In the case of Times of India, Snehasis Roy, the firm's technical director, was instrumental in the purchase of IST Metz system, having been worked with the systems during his stint at ABP. 

IST Metz offers customisation to its customers to decide on the speed of curing, type of cooling system for the lamps, maintenance aids, etc to suit their budgets and requirements. In addition, the firm manufactures all major components in-house which include the lamps, ballast system, reflectors, among others.
